February 10, 2009 - The science- and technology-related spending items in the House and Senate versions of the stimulus bill appear below.  These two versions of the bill will now be brought into conformity with each other by the conference committee.  The conferees are:

Below numbers are corrected as of 2/11/09 to reflect Specter/Harkin floor amendment to add $6.5 billion to NIH, which did not appear in Nelson/Collins working group document but which we have confirmed from sources that it survived the cuts, and to remove portions of AHRQ not going through NIH.  The AAAS has an excellent analysis that goes into greater detail here.  We will provide further details on the conference bill as we learn them. -- *** 2/12/09 UPDATE -- FINAL BILL NUMBERS ARE HERE
